We use a combination of locally-sourced natural cotton canvas, beeswax, and upcycled materials to keep our products as sustainable as possible from the start.
Sustainability is also reflected in the construction: we build our bags to last. That is why we offer a repair guarantee- we want your bags to endure through all of your adventures.

Askew Goods was started by Tiffany & Caine Kaar in early 2025.
From the beginning, we have been committed to building a family business rooted in the community, which happens to be Gainesville, Florida.

Since Askew is a small, family-oriented business, we produce our wares in small batches. We believe slow-made goods mindfully created from start to finish are part of the solution.

Besides for selling our items here on our website, we also sell them in person. Check our calendar for our next market.

We are in the studio in the evenings and most weekends. Please contact us if you want to swing by.

Our only social media is Instagram but we do post regularly so follow us there for more frequent updates. You can also DM us there if you see a bag you want and it is not in the shop.

We infrequently update our journal but you can also find Tiffany’s writing on Substack. We have plans to start a podcast one day as well but so far we are lucky just to have time to sew and raise our family. :)
