Hi there.

We’re on the other side of the holiday market season, which we honestly just hopped into to see how we could do. It was an interesting experience/experiment and we are truly grateful for the support and positive feedback we received.

We learned a lot in the past few months. Caine and I each developed and produced our separate styles of bags which has become an interesting approach to running a bagmaking business. I do smaller, more colorful bags with upcycled materials while he focuses on the classic canvas tote lines with beeswaxed details. The result is that we have quite a diverse collection of bags to offer and have met a wider range of customers/clients than we would have if we had limited the selection to one or the other.

Well, we had a diverse collection of bags. Right now, we are rebuilding our inventory since the markets brought us to absolute zero (well, we still have a medium GNV Tote and a navy Standard Tote so almost absolute zero. I mean, it feels like absolute zero, if that counts, and I think it should.) On top of that, we have some new designs we are anxious to prototype, only because we are excited to make them. (Like I want to share them with you but I can’t until they are ready. But they are like super rad. Trust me.)

Speaking of which, I will be putting the new Lunch Sacks in the shop this afternoon along with the organic Everyday Tote and some new waxed canvas zippered pouches that I am currently making. As in, I have to scoot so I can get back to work.

I will do my best to be a better correspondent. We are starting to get to a point where we have more clarity about our direction and intentions. This means I will have a lot more to share in the coming weeks. Until then, thanks and take care.
:)
